Want to come to the Next Big Thing blog and tag party?

Hi everyone!

This week I'm doing Pamela Mason's Next Big Thing blog and tag party and YOU'RE invited! This is a party where you learn all about new books being written by your favorite authors right now.

Sounds exciting, doesn't it?

The way it works is this. I've answered ten questions below about the book I'm currently working on and provided links to five blogs of my author friends. They'll be answering these questions on their blogs next week (or so), so all you have to do is check them out!

You can come back and follow links to your heart's content whenever you're looking for a good book to read. Sound good?

Okay, ready? Here we go:

Linsey's Next Big Thing Answers

1. What is your working title of your book? Fire Dancer

2. Where did the idea come from for the book? I knew I had to send Miranda and Parker on a special place for their honeymoon so I chose Maui. The rest came from ideas I got while researching the island.

3. What genre does your book fall under? Romantic Suspense.

4. Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition? I’ve been told Sandra Bullock would make a good Miranda. Definitely George Clooney for Parker. Or maybe Sean Connery. Parker exudes confidence and sexual magnetism.

5. Can you give us a one-sentence synopsis of your book?
Miranda and Parker’s Maui honeymoon gets hijacked when Miranda finds the body of a popular fire dancer on the beach and then discovers Parker has been keeping secrets from her.

6.  When will your book be released? I’ve promised it to my readers by the end of March.

7. How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript? Ha, ha, ha. It’s not done yet! But I’m working hard on it. (See question 6!)

8. What other books would you compare this story to within your genre? This is the fourth book in the Miranda Rights Mystery series. It continues feisty Miranda Steele’s relationship with the handsome though somewhat domineering ace investigator Wade Parker, as well as Miranda’s search for her daughter.

9. Who or what inspired you to write this book? My readers. They’ve been asking for the next book, so I knew I had better get on the stick. (See questions 6 and 7!!!)

10. What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest? There will be surprises. You can read excerpts for all the books in the Miranda Rights Mystery series on my blog. Also the extended prologue to the series is free.

And now, here are my author friends
